What constitutes a successful completion of a critical and backup power project?

Какво определя успешното завършване на проект за критично и резервно захранване? What constitutes a successful completion of a critical and backup power project?

What constitutes a successful completion of a critical and backup power project?

We at HI Engineering Ltd. know the answer: being objective, being engaged, and following specific process steps, namely:

1. Analysis of the current situation

  • Site visit and inspection;

  • Measurement of current loads and capacities;

  • Analysis of the load – machines and their criticality;

  • Current infrastructure in terms of wiring, panels, switchboards, etc.;

  • Power supply from the grid – quality and condition;

  • Other generating capacities in the energy complex of the enterprise – renewables, energy storage systems;

2. Assessment of the possibilities and plans for future loads and increase in capacity / consumption

3. Desired result – i.e. what security, for which loads (equipment), and with what reserve should be achieved

Based on such detailed information, a technical solution is structured, which includes the power of the UPS device, its type, time reserve, number and type of batteries, location, additional equipment (panels, etc.), method of delivery, positioning, etc.

Here is an example of a successfully completed industrial project at a production company that manufactures extremely precise metal details (moulds).

Critical power that provides protection and redundancy is crucial for the production process and safety of the production equipment.

The project covered: delivery and commissioning of a transformer-based industrial UPS Borri B9600 400kVA / 360kW + 100 x 12FLB450 FIAMM batteries + battery rack + external bypass switchboard + battery disconnector.

Huge thanks to our engineering team and our providers Borri S.p.A. and Fiamm Energy Technology for the smooth, successful, and efficient collaboration!
