As an engineering company, our corporate value and professional duty is to provide solutions that address a fundamental problem in the industry – power outages, power surges, and all kinds of deviations that have a negative effect on the process, production, machinery, products, etc. In other words, we do not simply offer systems – we provide a complete solution that fully reflects the profile, needs, and application of the client.

And the solution includes:

UPS equipment, batteries, battery racks or cabinets, complete assembly with bypass and disconnect panels, delivery, installation, maintenance. With industrial UPS systems, even logistics and installation can be a challenge considering the size, weight of the equipment, and the places where they are most often installed, but we have the necessary experience and equipment to handle any such task.

Regarding the types of systems, we define our portfolio according to specific criteria that are embedded in the company’s general concept of offering high-class equipment from proven manufacturers.

Our main partner for 15 years has been BORRI Italy. Borri is a manufacturer with a 100-year history and traditions in the development and production of continuity systems. For us at HI Engineering, it is an honor to be the exclusive representative of this established manufacturer. Borri’s focus has always been industry, healthcare, mining industry, infrastructure facilities and sites, data centers. With BORRI three-phase UPS systems and rectifiers, we execute projects in these fields.

UPS systems in stock

An essential element in our approach is maintaining stock availability. We distinguish two business directions from a business point of view – spot inquiries and long-term projects. Usually, spot assignments are for lower capacities. In order to ensure a quick response for these assignments, we maintain stock availability of three-phase UPS devices up to 80kVA.

Direct delivery from BORRI Italy

For long-term projects concerning higher capacities, the delivery of the equipment is carried out through specific orders to Borri.

Single-phase UPS systems

In order to provide the full range of UPS devices for complex projects and individual installations, we also offer high-quality single-phase UPS devices from another established manufacturer, Ablerex. The range includes capacities up to 10kVA, mainly online devices, while up to 2kVA we also provide line interactive models with pure sine wave. We maintain stock availability of the single-phase models Glamor, Glamor S, Ares, Mars.

Single-phase UPS systems change in BORRI portfolio

It is important to clarify that until the end of 2025, our portfolio also included single-phase Borri models. Based on a corporate decision in Italy, they discontinued the production of these devices and are focusing on three-phase solutions, which have always been Borri’s main focus. Nevertheless, in the name of our clients and the established relationships with traders, we made a strategic decision to deepen our relationship with Ablerex and continue to develop both three-phase and single-phase solutions.

Batteries for UPS systems

When talking about UPS systems, we cannot omit the topic of batteries. Batteries are an essential component of the entire system because they store the energy required by the UPS device to perform its functions – protection and backup. Because of this, as well as many other reasons, compromises with the batteries should also not be allowed. Here as well, we rely on manufacturers from the high-end segment, as we represent FIAMM and HOPPECKE. In order to ensure a quick response, we maintain stock availability of 7, 9, 12Ah batteries, which are the most commonly used for systems up to 80kVA with internal batteries. Accordingly, more powerful batteries are delivered according to specific requirements and projects.

The UPS device + battery string system should be considered as a unified whole and therefore a compromise with one of the components means a compromise with the entire equipment, which would immediately reflect on the reliability and overall performance of the system.
